83. Attend 3 basketball games 2011 season (3/3)

Basketball season started in May and I've actually already made it to 3 games.  As I mentioned last year, I have to keep up my status as one of the biggest fans!

It's a little different this year because we are operating 3 teams instead of our usual 4.  This year we have an Upper Girls team (Grades 6-8), Upper Boys team (Grades 7-8), and Lower Boys team (Grades 4-6).  They didn't have enough girls for a lower team so while my 6th graders would normally be the oldest/most powerful, they are now included with the upper team and are the babies of the group.

I don't have any boys playing on the lower team this year which is unusual.  However, at this point all of my past students are on the upper teams so those are the games I try to catch.  These games are intense- I can't believe how tall these kids have become! Most are close to 6-foot because they're taller than me.

We have a powerful "Starting 3"... just like another popular basketball team !

While I've made it to 3 games, I hope to make it to a few more.  All of the teams made it to the "playoffs" so now the serious games will begin :)
