A couple of
posts ago I mentioned how I snagged photo albums from back home to scan into my computer. The latest bunch I transferred to electronic copies were from our family's trip to Germany in 1996!
I am having so much fun with this goal- I love reliving trips via pictures. A few major things I reminisced upon were...
1) Germany is filled with gorgeous palaces, churches, and countryside.
| Neuschwanstein (The Cinderella Castle) |
| Sanssouci, Frederick the Great's Summer Palace |
| Vierzehnheiligen (The Pilgrimage Church of the Fourteen Auxiliaries) |
2) I had really good photography skills. (This is obviously sarcastic- why didn't I just turn the camera for a vertical shot?!)
| St. Marien Kirche and Telespargel in Berlin.... horribly cut off! |
3) The Mueldeners were looking good in the 90s! Especially me.
| At my Aunt and Uncle's apartment while they were living in Berlin |
| Check out that American Flag Speedo t-shirt! |
What can I say? I was an international beauty at 12 years old.
| Notice I had the same posture problem back then too! |
We saw and did so many great things on this trip. The memories are still very vivid in my head. I'll be sure to keep posting my favorites as I continue to work on this goal.
Ha! Trust me - we all had those awkward years!
