91. Take J.G. out to dinner

Many, many days have passed since I first created these goals and thus circumstances and priorities in my life have inevitably changed.

Goal #91 in particular can pretty much be a wash.  I was assigned to mentor J.G. when she first moved to New Jersey to be a teacher and unfortunately, I didn't do such a good job.  Therefore I put this on my list in hopes I might do a little better.

Well, now I am 3 years removed from my mentoring assignment and J.G. is no longer even teaching. It's safe to say it'd be weird for me to take her out to dinner at this point.

So I'm going to replace this goal with a new one!  This goal will now read...

91.  See all of the NYC area Pro sports teams

This has been an informal goal my hubby and I have had in our heads for a while so why not make it official?  It might get us to take that extra splurge or two on tickets instead of just staying at home.

  1. Great new goal! After attending my first Cowboys game last month, I can now say that I've been to a game from every Dallas professional team, starting with a Rangers game in 2002. :)

  2. Great goal! Not to mention letting go of something you know isn't going to happen. Life's not static, why set your goals in stone?

  3. This is one of my favorite goals on the whole list :) It's amazing how much things can change, and how much they can stay the same, within certain periods of time!
