74. Take 30 bubble baths with candlelight (1/30)

This goal seems like it might be one of the most easily attainable on my list. However, if you notice the count tacked on to the end I have only done this once in the last 10 months. Turns out there is more to a relaxing soak in the tub than one may think.

First off, it requires my tub to be clean. Not that ours is dirty... but there's a different level of cleanliness one wants when laying in the actual basin. Submerging yourself into the tub for a prolonged period is definitely not the same as standing in it for a speed shower.

Secondly, you have to make time. I mentioned the speed shower because I'm always rushing when I scrub-a-dub. Usually I hit snooze one or two more times than I should, and leave myself wandering how much time I could save if I skipped the conditioner.

Third, you need some good bubbles! My friend Allison has an adorable blog and one of her posts inspired me to invest in some fun bubbles. Aren't you always more excited to try something when you have materials you like? I'd much rather use something decent than leftover shower gel I've received as random gifts from students...

I remembered Allison's post when I saw Philosophy's Cinnamon Buns the other day so I scooped it up.

I am excited to try it out (after a good bleaching and scrubbing of the tub, of course)! Luckily we always have a candle on hand. It may look funny plopping a jumbo-scented-glass-jar-candle onto the bathroom counter but it still creates the same effect :)

I see some relaxation in my near future!
