After three years of living in the Big Apple, I finally made it to Yankee Stadium!
I went with a friend of mine from school who is an avid fan. She's been going to games since she was a teenager!
It was a great time and the Yankees topped the Houston Astros, 4-3. Andy Pettite was pitching, Jorge Posada was the designated hitter, Derek Jeter was short stop, Nick Swisher on outfield, Texiera on first base, Robinson Cano on second base, and the usual line-up of all-stars dotted the field. Alex Rodriguez was not playing though because he has a hurt hip.
I have to admit, Yankees games are a lot more fun to go to because they actually make plays. I have been to some other baseball games (those teams shall remain nameless) and they only had 4 hits the entire game! Those games are not so exciting.
In all, it was really fun and I'm ready to go to another one. We had great food, great views, great weather, and if you're with great company it's a great time :)
